The Wallyford Pug
This community project focused on celebrating Wallyford's mining heritage by building a replica of the village's steam engine, known as the "pug," which once transported supplies for the coal mines and brickworks. Angus documented the entire process, from the engine's construction in the blacksmith's workshop to its unveiling ceremony, attended by Provost John Macmillan.
'Memories and Reflections' Sculpture
Angus captured the installation of this giant stainless steel mussel sculpture, positioned just off Edinburgh Road in Musselburgh. It features images that represent Musselburgh's history, including its agriculture, people, and connections to the sea, river, and Romans.
Whale's Jawbone, North Berwick Law
Angus documented the creation and installation of a large fiberglass replica of a whale's jawbone destined for the top of North Berwick Law. The original jawbone was removed in 2005 due to safety concerns. The replica, made by Ralph Plastics of Macmerry, was airlifted into place by helicopter.
